Who Am I?

Marie Soffy Saint Fort is a dynamic 28-year-old Haitian-American romance writer and poet from South Florida. Multilingual and deeply passionate about poetry since the age of eight, she has turned her early fascination with words into a thriving career in writing. Soffy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and is advancing her expertise with a Master of Arts in Creative Writing and English at Southern New Hampshire University, which she will complete in August 2025.
In high school, she showcased her talents in prestigious poetry competitions, including Louder Than A Bomb Florida in 2016, where she proudly secured third place, and Word Up Poetry in 2015. She has published a compelling chapbook, "Passion Fruit," available on Smashwords and other platforms, demonstrating her literary prowess. Soffy is also crafting two novels, which she plans to release by the summer of 2025, affirming her commitment to her craft and future as an author.
